Migrating GUILD from ETH Network to Binance Smart Chain using ChainPort
Good day, GUIDLers! You can now migrate your $GUILD tokens from Ethereum Network to Binance Smart Chain, by using the next-gen bridge of our partners, Chainport.io. The team at Chainport.io has seamlessly ported GUILD to BSC, giving $GUILD holders interoperability within minutes.
How to Migrate GUILD?
1. Connect your Metamask to the ChainPort.io App. Then, in the Port-out page, set the “from” network to Ethereum, and the “to” network to BSC. You can manually search GUILD in the tokens, or input GUILD contract address (0x83e9f223e1edb3486f876ee888d76bfba26c475a) in the “Select a Token Tab”.
2. Click the “Approve Tokens” button. You need to have some ETH for the gas fees. Input the number of tokens that you want to migrate. You can also manually set the Gas to be used.
A pop-up in your MetaMask will appear, showing the transaction fee.
Note: Please be reminded that this step does not automatically migrate your tokens. There would be a final step that also requires paying another gas fee.
3. After approving your tokens, now you need to click the “Port Out” Button. This is the final step before finally moving your GUILD to the BSC Network.
After approving the transaction in your MetaMask, you will be asked by ChainPort App to confirm the porting.
Just wait for a few minutes for the bridging to come through. You will pay another gas fee for this step as shown above.
Congratulations! When the bridge is complete, you should see confirmation that the Port out is complete. Now you can enjoy the low fees of BSC.
