Fresh From the Farm: BSPC x Happyland Partner For #F2E Gaming

All the great civilizations began with farming. Now, why not in the metaverse too? That’s the core idea behind Happyland, an agriculture-themed farming metaverse that extends the idea of play-to-earn to “farm-to-earn” or #f2e.

The game’s design is inspired by farmlands in the state of Texas in the U.S., with players toiling soil, raising cattle, and nourishing plants and crops for their farm. All items in Happyland have actual monetary value: the platform is built on top of Binance’s BNB Chain. As such, all items are considered as virtual assets which can be traded as NFTs on the open market.

Happyland has raised $3 million during its seed round and private sale. Their team has also successfully completed an IDO in late 2021 on PolkaStarter. The game is backed by venture capital firms such as ZBS Capital, AU21 Capital, Kyros Ventures, Banter Capital, Kyber Ventures, SMO Capital, and Parachain Ventures, among others. Happyland currently has partnerships with macro guilds such as Good Games Guild, Polkastarter Gaming Guild, and Real Deal Guild, each with 200 scholars.

Happyland has five types of land NFTs: Euphoria, Meadow, Woodland, Valley, and Highland. Happyland’s game development studio also plans to make an ecosystem of games around the platform, powered by the two tokens that the platform currently has: $HPW as the rewards token, and $HPL as its governance token.

The game is already live on its mainnet with over 7,000 accounts registered. Happyland also has deflationary mechanisms in place for its tokens, with in-game features and actions designed for burning. Notably, Happyland’s tokenomics has set 28% of its $HPL tokens for their Play-to-Earn liquidity pool.

The game’s full launch is set for Q3 this year, and it’s about to get more exciting as its Version 3 is released, introducing 3D environments, Player Avatar Creation, Multiplayer systems, and new genesis seeds and upgrades for its Techlab. Most recently, Happyland has launched a renting feature for its land NFTs.

We’re excited to be part of this new concept, and we’re partnering with Happyland to bring the game to more guilds and players who wish to see themselves become farm owners in the metaverse. BlockchainSpace’s suite of guild data and analytics solutions like Kaizen and Kozo will connect Happyland with our partner guilds and help them scale into this exciting new metaverse game.

While the idea behind Happyland isn’t new (just about everybody with a smartphone has played that farming app before, right?), it’s certainly refreshing to see the concept evolve and expand into the metaverse. See y’all out there!
