Bringing GameFi Ideas to Reality: BSPC x Falco.gg
Guilds. Games. If there were two things to describe what we do at BlockchainSpace, these things come up at the frontline. We connect guilds with games and guide gamers to guilds.
From data to analytics, we make sure that gamers and guilds get the right tools to grow and scale in the GameFi sector. Now, we partnered with a new platform that serves both: Falco.gg, a Web3 gaming launchpad that serves at the crucial intersection between a game and its player base.
Falco provides a platform for publishing blockchain games, and we’ve teamed up with them to bring guilds to the games that they will be releasing. Currently, Falco has published two games: The Harvest, a triple-A shooter with MOBA mechanics, and Mouse Haunt, a multiplayer P2E game built on Unreal Engine 5. Both games feature NFT earning mechanics, with token farming and acquisition built into the game’s metaverses.
The Harvest, as released in Falco’s GameFi launchpad, was developed by The Breach Studios, a game development firm based in Spain. Builds for the game started in 2020 as a premium title, later shifting to a free-to-play model with play-to-earn mechanics in 2021 as the game partnered with Falco. The Harvest operates as a chainless tokenized game, with players interacting on its metaverse through $EOL, its soft currency.
Mouse Haunt, meanwhile, is a 3D isometric multiplayer play-to-earn game with breeding, token farming, and level-building mechanics based on NFTs. The game is designed to be played with teams. Players experience being Mouse Heroes of each Castle filled with haunts and surprises. Mouse Heroes can shoot, dash, and use special abilities as the game progresses. Players can also choose to play as Ghosts and “possess” objects across the game’s metaverse to eliminate Mouse Heroes by combining this with strategies such as the activation of traps the use of ethereal abilities.
Falco has helped the studios behind The Harvest and Mouse Haunt to quickly launch their games into Web3, with direct guidance on capital management, launch marketing, WebApp management, and smart contract deployment. Falco has also helped these two games to acquire significant traction for their target gaming communities, alongside providing guidance for building the games’ teams through mentoring and hiring strategy.
Falco itself is no stranger in the Web3 scene. The platform has investments from Seedify, Binance, Avalith, and Blockvis. We’re proud to partner with Falco and help them get connected with our community of guilds. We wish to see more new P2E games getting released on their launchpad.
