BlockchainSpace Weekly Update: Exciting New Partnerships, Crypto Events, and More!
Greetings, GUIDLers! We’re wrapping up another great month for BlockchainSpace!
We are thrilled to share all the exciting new developments over the last two weeks with you. As we continue to experience fluctuations in the crypto markets, we are holding the line to bring stability to our guilds, gamers, and partners through a variety of partnerships with cutting-edge games, new guild partners, and attending more events to ensure our community is stronger than ever!
First off, on August 15, we announced our partnership with Sando Vibes, a play-to-earn community that aims to equip and empower future leaders, creators, and community members of the metaverse. Through this partnership, we aim to onboard the next generation of gamers through education, entertainment, and information!
On the next day, August 16, we announced we are taking off on an intergalactic mission with our new partner, Sidus Heroes! This AAA+ play-to-earn browser gaming metaverse is revolutionizing game mechanics and allows players to have the opportunity to rule the Sidus Station with their guild. We are excited to bring space exploration and intergalactic conquests to our guilds and gamers. To learn more about this collaboration, you can read more here.
Later that day, Jen Bilango, BlockchainSpace’s very own Corporate Strategy and Growth Lead, joined the BitPinas Mid-Winter Fireside Chat as a panelist. At this event, Jen discussed the current state of the crypto market in the Philippines. If you missed this event, you can find a recap here.
Later in the week, on August 18, we announced our partnership with OneSnap Esports. OneSnap prides itself on going the extra mile to nurture and support aspiring professional esports players to succeed. With players currently active in Thetan Arena and League of Legends: Wild Rift, the sky’s the limit for this exciting new partnership!
Later that day, we partnered with Sandbox Academy to create SandKwela, a free online course on how to monetize and sell art as NFTs! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people from the Philippines to create their very own NFTs and showcase their talents on the world stage.
Moving forward to August 19, we introduced our new partnership with KatsDojo, a community that empowers Web3 gamers and developers through scholarships and employment opportunities.
Next up, on August 23, we announced our partnership with the legendary esports giant Battle Arena Games Guild! Through this partnership, we aim to unite gamers, content creators, and influencers worldwide in our passion for online and offline gaming.
Moving forward to August 25, we were honored to have Matt Dy Juanco, our Business Development Manager, attend the Bitcoin, Beer, and Bitstories event at Draper Startup House Manila to discuss all things GameFi. This event was a perfect opportunity to stop by and get to know our team, so if you missed out, you can catch the recap here.
The next day, on August 26, we were excited to announce the newest guild joining our ecosystem: INB. This Filipino gaming guild brings more play-to-earn opportunities to the people of the Philippines, and we are proud to call them our partner.
On that same day, BlockchainSpace attended the Bicol Web3 Meetup in Naga City to discuss the vital role projects and community members play in the world of Web3. Together with other Web3 titans, we spent the day learning, discussing, and collaborating with the local community to further empower local developers, gaming guilds, and future partners to continue excelling in the space. Closing out the week, on that same day, BlockchainSpace Founder, Peter Ing, attended Coinfest Asia in Bali to discuss how Web3 gaming guilds are building new systems that enable borderless gaming. The panel also featured leaders from YGG SEA, Thetan Arena, Metabase, and Meta 1 Network, with hundreds in attendance.
Throughout August, we witnessed a lot of exciting new partnerships every week, but what truly made us proud was the opportunity to meet our community members during each event. In September, we are excited to meet even more of you around the world while also bringing you the best play-to-earn opportunities.
