BlockchainSpace Weekly Update: Exciting Meetups, Guild Bot Updates, Partnerships, and More!

Another extremely busy and exciting month is quickly coming to a close. We at BlockchainSpace are thrilled to announce more great news to keep you all updated on all the moves we’ve been making. BlockchainSpace is devoted to ensuring our community has the tools and knowledge you deserve to thrive as the play-to-earn gaming space continues to grow and evolve.
So, without further ado, let’s dive in and see what BlockchainSpace was up to in October!
On October 10, we completed our Guild Bot’s Axie Infinity: Origin migration! This handy tool allows guild managers to manage their scholars directly on Discord. This is a crucial step in our community because managing scholars across the Axie Infinity ecosystem is now easier than ever. The next day, we announced that the Axie Infinity Cabanatuan Tournament registered 241 players for the event on October 22! This tournament aims to bring Axie Infinity players together in the Axie Capital of the Philippines and battle it out to show who reigns supreme in the world of Axie Infinity! We are so grateful to have such a fantastic community standing with us on the world stage.
Next up, on October 12, BlockchainSpace announced our partnership with the esteemed University of Sydney for their Axie Infinity study. This study, led by Dr. Russell Toth of the School of Economics, aims to research the socio-economic impact of playing Axie Infinity in the Philippines. The survey is open to Axie Infinity players from the Philippines, and respondents can earn $SLP as a token of appreciation. Moving on to October 13, we announced our partnership with Archloot! Archloot is a play-to-earn NFT game with loot-style composability and playability. In the world of Archloot, players can experience new lands, fierce monsters, and exciting PvP, PvE, and Clan Wars gameplay. On October 19, our Founder and CEO, Peter Ing, took the stage at Philippine Fintech Festival to discuss blockchain gaming and actual use cases of Web3. Across this five-day event in Makati City, Philippines, industry leaders in blockchain technology and finance got together to shape the future of Asia’s digital economy.
The next day, we announced the Alpha launch of our new tool to help guilds scale into the metaverse: Guild Hub. Through this decentralized application (dApp), we were thrilled to have over 300 applicants for the 256 slots available for the Axie Infinity Cabanatuan Tournament. We had a great time with all the participants as they battled it out in the biggest Axie tournament.
Next up, on October 22, we attended the Philippines’ biggest Axie Infinity event in Cabanatuan. Over 800 attendees watched as over 200 players battled their way to victory. This is undoubtedly an event that will live on in crypto history forever!
With our community behind us, BlockchainSpace and Axie Infinity Philippines distributed more than 300 food packages to the victims of this typhoon.
We are grateful for our community standing up for the people of the Philippines — the same people who have given so much to us. Our hearts and minds are with you all.
We’d also like to express our deepest and most sincere condolences to those affected by Typhoon Karding, which struck the Philippines in late September. This super typhoon caused catastrophic damage and loss of life across the islands.

On October 27, we hosted MetaCare’s AMA. Metacare will be the most inclusive web3 benefits platform, offering insurance and other health benefit plans, unencompwered by restrictive traditional health plans and empowered by the inclusiveness of Web 3!
