We are sharing some important updates regarding our $GUILD allocation structure, which aligns with our recently issued YEY-$GUILD tokenomics and whitepaper.

In our journey towards growth and adaptability, we’ve made thoughtful changes to our allocation of the total supply of 1,000,000,000 $GUILD tokens, ensuring they support the evolving needs and future direction of our initiatives.

Key Highlights

$GUILD Reallocation Completed

First and foremost, we are pleased to announce the successful completion of our $GUILD reallocation. This crucial step ensures that our token distribution aligns with our strategic vision for BlockchainSpace.

Introduction of ‘Staking’ Category

We’ve introduced a “Staking” category and removed the “Ecosystem” category to emphasize our commitment to community engagement. Ecosystem funds were distributed to the Treasury and to fund ‘Staking’. This change is designed to reward our community’s loyalty and participation through staking incentives.

Updated $GUILD Token Distribution

Our recent adjustments in token distribution, detailed in the latest whitepaper, are carefully designed to support our project’s growth and ensure sustainability.

The following adjustments have been made to our token distribution:

Public Sale: On December 8, 2021, we originally distributed 7.5% of the token supply for our Public Sale. However, only 2.77% were sold. The Public Sale tokens were fully vested on December 8, 2021.
Private Sale: In Q4 of 2021, we distributed 15% of the token supply to Private Sale investors, including Animoca Brands, Spartan Group, Infinity Ventures Crypto (IVC), Crypto.com Capital, Coingecko, and Morningstar Ventures, amongst many others. Private Sale tokens have been fully vested as of 8 December 2023.
Team & Advisors: No change to distribution
Community: No change to distribution
Ecosystem: The Ecosystem category has been phased out, with its allocation redistributed to enhance our Treasury and introduce a new Staking category.
Staking: A fresh allocation of 4.73% has been dedicated to Staking, incentivizing active community participation.
Treasury: The Treasury’s allocation has been optimized to 27.5%, ensuring we have the resources for market making, strategic partnerships, retroactive rewards, and operational needs.

These reallocations are rooted in our commitment to adaptability and the long-term success of BlockchainSpace. Working with the existing total supply of 1 billion $GUILD tokens, we optimized its distribution to align with BlockchainSpace’s evolving strategic goals and the dynamic needs of our community.

We pledge to maintain absolute transparency with our community, ensuring you are informed and engaged every step of the way. Expect updates in our Gitbook and Coingecko listings to mirror these recent changes, particularly highlighting the removal of the ‘Ecosystem’ bucket and introducing the ‘Staking’ category.
